DMCA Policy

Congresso Eua Base respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our services and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Filing a DMCA Infringement Notice

If you believe that material or content residing on or accessible through Congresso Eua Base infringes your copyright, please send a notice of copyright infringement containing the following information to our designated agent:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted works or materials being infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing including information regarding the location of the infringing materials that the copyright owner seeks to have removed, with sufficient detail so that Congresso Eua Base is capable of finding and verifying its existence.
  4. Contact information of the notifying party including address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that the notifying party has a good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and the notifying party is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you have received a notification of copyright infringement and believe that the material removed or to which access was disabled is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notification containing the following information to our designated agent:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Congresso Eua Base may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement.
